The almost-identical H8, H9 and H10 Consolidations were the most common type of steam locomotive on the PRR. Although
replaced in heavy freight service by larger engines, consolidations handled branchline freight, work trains,
switching service, and pretty much everything else.
Status - Patterns for the tender, including the Lines West bunker addition, are finished. Work is underway on the boiler and cab!!
