DT&I Standard Station

HO Scale Version Shown
#27118 - Waiting Room Right Version
#27119 - Waiting Room Left Version

According to Jim Hediger in the Model Railroader article, these stations were built by the Ohio Southern around the turn of the last century. Eight stations were built, some were mirror images placing the waiting room on either the left or right side, and most still existed in the last 1970's.

This kit consists of laser-cut basswood, plywood, and cardstock, detail castings, and loads of accurate details. The windows and doors are positionable; window sashes are self-adhesive wood to make glazing much easier. The tabbed, well-engineered construction provides fast and easy assembly. The footprint is about 22' x 45'. It was based upon the drawings in the Sept 1978 Model Railroader.
