Transformer LoadIn 1939, Model Railroader ran a construction article for a depressed center flat car and the Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company transformer. A single photo showed the transformer strapped down on a CNW car. This photo and article was used to develop the transformer and the tie downs. This was designed for the B.T.S. Depressed Center Flat Car, but can be used on other cars or in a scene with a power house. The unpainted kits consists of high-quality, no-odor urethane castings, laser-cut wood for the bracing, brass wire, and signs. Easy assembly with ACC or epoxy.
