Open Wood RickRick is an old agricultural term for a large quantity of hay or straw stacked into a rectangular shape for storage and covered at the top to protect it from weather. It seems likely that early railroader, fresh off the farm, looked at the piles of wood for the locomotives, and called them the same thing. This kit will build two, scale 40' long ricks, or they can be combined into one of 80' length. The model features laser-cut wood components including laser-engraved nail holes, and material is included to create the cut firewood.
