PRR XA 28' Box Car
This car is a model of the PRR XA Box Car. This car was introduced in 1879 and was basically the 'standard box car' of 1870, but with a 7'-11" wide interior. The body length is 28' and had a capacity of 24,000 lbs. The model consists of laser-cut wood and cardstock components with hardware in plastic and brass. Less decals, trucks and couplers. Art Griffin Decals has the lettering set for this car in all three scales! Bethleham Car Works Archbar trucks are shown on the HO model.
